William Parker Walker

Walker & Walker began its 50 years of service to the Southeast Ohio area in 1947 when William Parker Walker opened his practice in Athens, Ohio.  In 1953, William Parker Walker and John Bolin formed the firm of Bolin and Walker.  John Bolin left the firm in 1961 after being elected judge of the Athens County Court of Common Pleas.  In 1963, William Parker Walker and Gerald Mollica formed the firm of Walker and Mollica, which eventually grew to be known as Walker, Mollica, Gall, Sillery and Sloan.  William R. Walker joined the firm in 1978.

William R. Walker

A native of Athens, William R. Walker graduated from Ohio University in 1975 and the University of Toledo, College of Law in 1978.   Joining the law firm of Walker, Mollica & Gall as an associate on 1975, he established the law firm of Walker & Walker Co., L.P.A. in 1982 with his father, William Parker Walker and the title agency, Lawyers Title Agency of Athens County, Ohio.   Admitted to practice before all Ohio Courts and the U.S. District Court, Southern Division of Ohio, Walker's practice concentrates in the areas of probate, estate planning and administration, real estate, business planning and civil litigation.

A Vietnam Veteran (1968-1971), after attaining his law degree, Walker received a commission in the Judge Advocate General's Corp, U.S.A.R., resigning his commission in 1994 to concentrate on his private practice.  Walker is an active member of the Athens community having been elected twice to the Athens City School Board; past president of the Athens County Bar Association (1987-1988); current or past member of the Athens City Recreation Board, McClure Foundation; United Senior Citizens Board (Chairman: 1998); Athens High School Athletic Boosters and Athens Soccer Association.

Brian R. Walker

Brian R. Walker, a native of Athens graduated from the University of Toledo College of Law in 1985.  Upon graduation Walker began his career as an assistant prosecutor in Marietta, Ohio.  Since then, Walker has concentrated his practice in civil litigation.  While focusing his practice on litigation, Walker maintains a general practice representing individuals in a variety of areas.  He is admitted to practice before all Ohio Courts and the U.S. District Court of Ohio, Southern and Northern Divisions.

Brian R.Walker is a member of the Athens and Ohio State Bar Associations, The Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers and The Association of Trial Lawyers of America.  He is member of the downtown Kiwanis Club and a board member of the Athens Chapter of the American Red Cross.
